Product Introduction
The strength of 5083 aluminum strip is greater than that of 5052 aluminum strip, and it has superior thermal conductivity. Because of its remarkable ductility, it retains exceptional formability in the tempered state. It is excellent for welding and can be toughened through cold working. Because of its strong resistance to general corrosion, 5083 alloy aluminum strip is employed in marine applications. Because of its capacity to tolerate extremely low temperatures without embrittlement or loss of characteristics, alloy 5083 is particularly suited to cryogenic markets.
