Product Introduction
3004 aluminum coil is a material, in the wrought aluminum-manganese family. With the exception of the about 1% magnesium addition, it is comparable to the 3003 alloy. It can be cold worked to generate tempers with a higher strength but a lower ductility; however, it cannot be heat treated, in contrast to some other forms of aluminum alloys. Similar to the majority of other alloys made of aluminum and manganese, 3004 is a multi-purpose alloy with a moderate strength, good workability, and fantastic resistance to corrosion.
